Costs of insuring lone working staff operating in high risk jobs, in difficult geographies or out of office hours are rising. Similarly, the risk of litigation from staff or them leaving/taking time off work due to stress, injury or concern over their wellbeing is on the increase.

Many employers are also starting to realise the benefit in helping capture evidence to support their workers faced with agressive, verbal abuse.

Based around Connexion2's award winning Identicom™ family of lone worker protection devices, SoloProtect is an all inclusive managed service comprising an Identicom, 24/7 manned monitoring, mobile network connection and airtime*, full user training and our TotalCare™ support package.  SoloProtect ensures that lone workers can call upon the backup they need, where and when they need it.

Disguised as a standard identity card holder, Identicom provides a discreet means of alerting SoloProtect's 24 hour manned monitoring centre to your situation.  Whether injured, or facing physical or verbal abuse, the monitoring centre will be able to listen to, and record, what occurs during the incident, to ensure proportionate and immediate action.  Recordings are admissible as evidence in court or may be used to support changes in working practices.

In the event of an incident a predefined set of escalation tasks will be followed by qualified personnel in the monitoring centre. This will include escalation to the Police if the incident warrants such a response and/or notification of the incident through to appropriate memebers of staff in your organisation. The monitoring service we provide as part of SoloProtect is accredited to the most stringent UK regulations including BS5979 Cat II.

SoloProtect with Bluetooth Identicom i350

If your staff are using Bluetooth enabled mobile phones then SoloProtect with Connexion2's Bluetooth Identicom i350 will work in conjunction with that phone, removing the need for a second phone contract.  The Identicom i350 introduces a new level of affordability to this popular form factor, bringing SoloProtect within the reach of every size of business, whether global corporation or owner-managed retailer.

SoloProtect with fully integrated Identicom i750

Integrating communications and the greatest functionality into a single unit makes SoloProtect with the Identicom i750 the simplest solution for your employees.  Users need only charge and carry one device for lone worker security.  Until recently known just as 'Identicom' the Identicom i750 has won numerous awards and earnt its position as the most popular lone worker protection product.

For lone workers who are at increased risk of injury, SoloProtect with the Identicom i770 with Man-Down adds the capability to automatically raise an alert in case of incapacity of the user.  Maintaining all of the functionality of the Identicom i750, the i770 delivers an immensely flexible product to protect the user in case of abuse, attack or injury, whilst minimising the risk of false alarm.

SoloProtect is also able to offer as an additional cost option a range of mobile response services to complement any response from the Police. Our Active Personnel Protection Services (APPS) can provide your lone worker with the support of a trained and SIA registered on a pay as you use basis. This service can either be pre-booked to support a worker who may be visiting an area identified as high risk.
