SoloProtect is proud to be an end-to-end lone worker solution provider. We manage every part of our solution; from our market leading, UK manufactured, Identicom device, to our in-house state of the art, EN50518 compliant Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), and everything in-between. We meet all of our customers’ needs, removing the need for multiple suppliers. Our solutions are BS8484 approved and offer a range of functionality to suit a variety of worker types via dedicated devices, or mobile applications.

• UK Manufactured Identicom Device
• SIM Card and all-inclusive network usage
• In-house state of the art, EN50518 Compliant 24/7/365 ARC
• In-house customer support team
• UK Based lone worker training
• Comprehensive monthly reporting

SoloProtect is proud to support the Made in Britain campaign. The Identicom device is designed and manufactured in the UK, therefore if a damaged unit needs fixing or replacing the process is swift. However, SoloProtect focus on using innovative and high quality componentry to supply lone worker devices of the highest quality and performance, so they are fit for purpose now, and in the future.

Our investment in an in-house ARC allows a significant leap forward in terms of the services we're able to deliver to SoloProtect customers.

By investing in a brand new, purpose built ARC that meets new, more stringent European Standards, we're taking lone worker protection to a whole new level. Both in terms of the quality of our infrastructure and staffing, but also with regards to the level of reporting a SoloProtect customer can tap into.

In November 2015, SoloProtect was audited and approved against BS8591 and EN50518, making Suzy Lamplugh House the first dedicated lone worker ARC in Europe to be accredited against both standards. Rest assured that when your lone workers need help, we'll be able to provide the best possible response.

This unique and unparalleled service affords us the flexibility to develop bespoke solutions and customize every element of our service to suit our customers’ needs.

What you get from a SoloProtect Solution

Every BS8484 approved, market leading lone worker SoloProtect solution is an inclusive service for a fixed monthly fee. No extras, no connection fees and no surprises.

UK Manufactured Identicom lone worker device

The UK’s most widely used lone worker device, Identicom is the only lone worker device specifically designed as an identity card holder in order to be easy to wear and discreet to use. Containing mobile-phone (GSM) technology, the device enables a 24/7/365 link to ARC monitoring in the event an employee requires assistance.

At the push of a button, a trained SoloProtect ARC Operator is listening to an abusive or violent situation on your behalf, and recording audio for future use if necessary, (admissible evidence in court proceedings etc). The call will then be escalated in line with what is an appropriate response - including alerting Emergency Services more efficiently than a 999 call, (one level higher, via a URN direct into a regional Police control centre).

24/7/365 Alarm Receiving Centre Support

In November 2015, SoloProtect was audited and approved against BS8591 and EN50518, making Suzy Lamplugh House the first dedicated lone worker ARC in Europe to be accredited against both standards. Rest assured that when your lone workers need help, we'll be able to provide the best possible response.

Whether your staff work nine to five, evenings, overnight or weekends - if they open a 'Red Alert' on their Identicom, someone will be listening. The SoloProtect ARC uses the latest alarm handling technology, ensuring that audio alarms from a lone worker are presented to our operators quickly and efficiently. Every second counts in a genuine 'Red Alert' situation; so enabling a highly trained operator to listen to, assess, and record the lone worker alarm as soon as possible is imperative.

Training for your lone workers

We provide training to all device users - whether that’s via face-to-face sessions, telephone, DVD based, or even by training your own trainers to cascade across the organisation - we'll be as flexible as possible to suit your needs.

UK-based Customer Support

Based at SoloProtect HQ, Suzy Lamplugh House, there's a dedicated Customer Support Team working to support your solution. They carry out hundreds of administrative actions every week, designed to take the pressure off the main lone worker contact within your organisation. This saves our customers a huge amount of time and resources, and also ensures the information linked to a solution is kept up-to-date.

Online Portal

A personal online portal supplies an organisation with a fast and flexible way of updating user information. It puts you in charge and offers a host of benefits without detracting or removing the dedicated customer support already in place.

Comprehensive Monthly Reporting

Every SoloProtect Solution customer gets a monthly report outlining the utilisation of devices or phone-applications across their team. This can be used to easily highlight areas of best practice, pockets of low usage and where additional training support might be beneficiary.
