SoloProtect exhibiting at PPSS Lone Worker Safety show next month
24th Nov, Olympia, London.
Lone Worker Safety 2015 takes place at the Olympia Conference Centre, London on Tuesday 24th November, with SoloProtect retaining its participation as one of a number of exhibitors focussed on delivering solutions to help an organisation protect its lone workers.
SoloProtect (formerly named Connexion2 until mid-2015) will be located on Stand 2 at this year’s event and will be showcasing their leading lone worker solution featuring the Identicom lone worker device – which is now used by over 150,000 lone workers. In addition, they’ll be discussing some of the forthcoming customer benefits of the new, purpose built, Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) at SoloProtect’s new UK Head Office, Suzy Lamplugh House in Sheffield.
The ARC, which will begin handling SoloProtect user alerts from 2016, is completed and currently going through the final audit approval processes and is expected to be the first dedicated lone worker ARC in the UK to be compliant to BS 8591 and the European Standard EN 50518 (both standards related to Alarm Receiving Centre’s).
Building the Alarm Receiving Centre has enabled the company to create fourteen new, full-time positions of employment at SoloProtect – and builds on the business’ announcement earlier this year of a commitment to provide a living wage to all, that is in excess of the current UK rate stipulated.
Craig Swallow, Managing Director of SoloProtect UK commented, “We’re really happy to again be exhibiting at Lone Worker Safety – and I look forward to being able to discuss some of the new benefits our SoloProtect customers will receive in 2016. I also like the fact that a conference entirely dedicated to raising awareness around safer lone working is now so well established. The content for delegates at the event is always compelling”.
