SoloProtect exhibiting at Retail Risk Leicester
Lone worker company returns to key loss prevention event this October
SoloProtect, the international lone worker company, is exhibiting at Retail Risk, Leicester on October 3 & 4. Held at Leicester City's, King Power stadium, the annual Retail Knowledge event attracts key loss prevention and security personnel from across the UK and beyond.
SoloProtect (Located on Stand 15 at the event) was formed in 2003 and has delivered leading lone worker technology used by over 300,000 workers since inception. Retail remains a key vertical for the business, with a range of job roles in the sector, that benefit from the use of the company's Personal Safety Devices, supported by SoloProtect's 24/7 monitoring.
The company’s in-house Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) was opened in 2015 and is a state of the art, EN 50518 accredited, dedicated lone worker environment. It’s resourced with highly trained personnel and systems designed to ensure the ‘Time to Listen’ (TTL) - the point at which an alarm is being monitored - and 'Time to Verify (TTV) - understanding the nature of an alarm and starting the escalation process - is a matter of seconds.
SoloProtect has spent 2019 further developing SoloProtect Insights, an intuitive customer portal, in readiness for the expanded lone worker functionality being delivered by the SoloProtect ID Pro. The ID Pro, earmarked for customer availability in Q3 2019 earlier this year, is set to be available to customers shortly. The device, which combines Body Worn Video functionality within an ID badge device form-factor also facilitates indoor location capability and delivers a user with risk-based messaging, directly to their device.
Insights and ID Pro remain two areas of continuing development for SoloProtect, in 2019 and beyond. Insights is available to all SoloProtect customers, and continues to deliver training to users, administrative support, and management information through a series of analytics dashboards.
Craig Swallow, SoloProtect Managing Director commented, " Retail remains an area with a number of, often complex, personal-safety challenges for employers. We believe some of the new product development within our solution can solve significant pains for our clients in this sector.“
