Founded by Paul Bessant, Retail Risk conferences take place in over 14 locations and 5 continents worldwide. The aim is to inspire fresh thinking in the loss prevention community while learning what has worked and what hasn’t from industry leaders.
The Dallas conference featured over 15 speakers on topics ranging from new technologies in loss prevention to interrogation techniques with SoloProtect Senior Vice President Craig Swallow giving a keynote address on lone working in retail. He illuminated the moral and legal obligation of the employer to keep the employee safe, the benefits of doing so, and where this technology may be headed in the future.
