When enabled, the Latest Location feature uses GPS and geolocation technology to send periodic updates from each lone worker’s safety device or mobile app to SoloProtect Insights. Managers can log into the platform to view the real-time location of their workforce — either individually or as a group — on a simple map interface. The map also displays working status (e.g. on-shift, off-shift, or on leave), and each device’s battery life. This lone worker location tracking system provides operational oversight, helps reduce safety risk, and enables better resource planning.
