We have implemented the following policies to prevent modern slavery:
- Code of Conduct: outlines our expectations for ethical behaviour.
- Supplier Code of Conduct: requires suppliers to adhere to anti-slavery principles.
- Whistleblowing Policy: allows employees to report concerns confidentially.
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We assess the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains by:
- Conducting supplier audits and assessments
- Evaluating geographic and sector-specific risks
- Engaging with suppliers to ensure compliance
Supply Chain Management
We expect all suppliers, contractors, and business partners to share our commitment to preventing modern slavery. Where concerns are identified, we will work with suppliers to address issues and may terminate relationships where appropriate.
Training and awareness
We provide training to employees and key stakeholders to raise awareness of modern slavery and how to identify and report concerns.
Effectiveness and Performance Indicators
We monitor the effectiveness of our efforts through:
- Regular audits and reviews
- Tracking reports and concerns raised
- Supplier compliance rates
Future Commitments
During the next financial year, SoloProtect will continue to strengthen its approach to combating modern slavery by:
- Reviewing supplier due diligence processes
- Enhancing employee awareness and training initiatives
- Assessing modern slavery risks as part of procurement activities
- Reviewing policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective and aligned with legislative requirements.
