"The SoloProtect solution gives us peace of mind that if a situation does arise, there is always someone there ready to listen, monitoring our safety and wellbeing..."

The UK’s top pizza delivery company has underlined its commitment to employees by using SoloProtect as part of a health and safety initiative to protect staff working alone.

Domino’s Pizza UK and Ireland Ltd. has adopted the SoloProtect solution and have been supplied with 150 safety devices for their supply chain delivery drivers.

SoloProtect’s market-leading personal safety solutions are used by over 320,000 lone workers worldwide. The devices are wearable, discreet, and allow the user to raise an emergency alarm if they feel their safety is under threat. It also allows verbal abuse to be captured for use in any legal proceedings or internal training, and can detect if a user is incapacitated due to a slip, trip, fall or health issue.

The Domino’s health and safety team chose the SoloProtect solution above other lone worker solutions after a consultation process with their delivery drivers. Drivers stated the device’s discrete look and ease of use as major draws.

Dominos WorkerThe Transport Planning Assistant at Domino’s said:

"As a driver delivering to our stores at all times of the day and night, you can sometimes encounter situations that can leave you feeling isolated and alone. The SoloProtect solution gives us peace of mind that if a situation does arise, there is always someone there ready to listen, monitoring our safety and wellbeing, and escalating any situation to the emergency services as appropriate."

All alarms raised by users of SoloProtect safety devices go through to our state-of-the-art, 24/7 Monitoring Centre where highly trained Operators can listen in to an incident and escalate to the emergency services, if necessary.

In fact, our BS 8484 accreditation (the British Standard for Lone Worker Device Services) means we can dial straight into the regional police force, saving valuable time.

All SoloProtect customers also have access to SoloProtect Insights which is central to the solution. It enables seamless user onboarding, training, and reporting, along with a host of workforce management benefits including enhanced colleague visibility and increased productivity of mobile teams.
